Paralyze Resistance with Persistence

It's memorial day weekend and the unofficial start to Summer. Summer provides an excellent opportunity to get into gear and start working out hard. So, Its time to start incorporating activities into your daily routine to ensure your fitness goals are reached.
I began my current fitness routine on January 1st of this year, and i have had decent results. I dropped from 245lbs to 210lbs, my stamina and endurance are up, and my flexibility has improved drastically. Much of these changes would not have been possible if i hadn't began writing down all of my fitness related ideas. For example, i downloaded a free calorie counter app and it allows me to seach foods and add the to a food diary. Food diary is especially important if your are attempting to gain mass or burn fat. Caloric intake will determine success and failure in these areas. Put simply: take in more than you burn, you will gain weight. The same holds true for the opposite. Writing down your food consumption is key to understanding where you are lacking and what your putting in your body. It wont be as easy to eat the ice cream at 11pm when you have to wake up and see it written in your food journal the next morning.
If i could offer any tip to someone starting a new fitness regime, it is WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN.
This is my long hair chihuahua Bowzer. This photo was taken in his youth. I've never really been a fan of small dogs until this guy came about. He is very caring and loyal. He enjoys chicken tenders and has a stuffed animal for his best friend. My mom rescued a Schnauzer mix from the shelter last night. its for my sister who is turning seven in June.Ive always felt shelter dogs have behavioral issues, which is probably ignorance on my part, as this particular dog is crate and potty trained. Time will tell if it was a good pick or not.

Go Bolts

Tonight it Gm 7 of the Eastern Conference Semi- Finals. A trip to the Stanley Cup Championship is on the line. Tampa Bay goes crazy for the Lightning this time of year. Everywhere you go you see Bolts signs in yards and flags waving in the wind. Its a great time to be a Tampa Bay fan.
